I just did my first Intel dual core cpu and motherboard setup and install for system and I am puzzled. I used an Intel mobo D945 Gntl and cpu 805 64 (2.66) cpu and on attaching the heat-synch/fan to the mobo, where it snaps in to board, it occurred to me I see no way to remove it if there was a problem or I want to upgrade cpu? Anyone have any experiuence with this and know how to remove the heat-synch/fan once it snaps in?

Stock Intel heat synch and fan as cpu is retail box. looks to me like any heat synch has to install that way though as there is nothing but the 4 holes in mobo to hold anyting. maybe the standard black cradle woiiuod fit those holes but they aren't so easy to come by.

Thanks so much, that puts me at ease...I cannot believe the instructions with the cpu explain install. but never mention removal.
