My friend has a Dell Dimension 4700. He formatted his hard drive and we can't get the Intel Integrated Pro 10/100 Ethernet card to be recognized. It just says that it is an unknown device and that the drivers are not correct but we can't figure out how to get any updated ones. So we're stuck using the USB connection to the high speed modem (Bell Sympatico).
Thanks for any help

There are programs that can tell you what kind of motherboard you're using, for instance Everest.

Although the motherboard might just be called "Dell Dimension 4700".
