What is the difference between intel mobile I'm hearing about, and a regular intel processor?

The simplest explanation without visiting that site is that intel mobile chips use strange interfaces that make them incompatible with a desktop board, it would be nice if intel would pull its head... and make them go either way. (some of the later PIII laptop chips would be great in a pIII desktop board if it were possible)

The other difference is usually extra power saving features and other goodies as the link explains are integrated in with the cpu.

Cheers
