Intel Xeon Sound Driver

    Hello Guys,
    I cannot find the sound driver for Intel Exon processor. the model is: 0XC837 and serial: J9GV9B1. the computer is from dell but i dont know what its called. any help is appreciated. i recently installed win7 on it, it got all the drivers except the sound one so i need this. thanks

    Ftom the service tag it looks like a Dell Precision WorkStation 670. Dell doesn't show Windows 7 drivers, so we need to get them from the hardware manufacturer.

    Go to Device Manager and double click on the yellow ! or ? unknown device which is probably the sound card, then click Properties, then the Details tab. In the Property drop down menu choose Hardware Ids. A text string similar to HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0888&SUBSYS_14627549&REV_1002 should be displayed.

    the numbers after VEN (10EC in the above example) and DEV (0888 in the above example) should be enough for us to identify the hardware and find a driver.

    VEN_8086&DEV_24D5&SUBSYS_01681028&REV_02
    now where do i get this sucker?

    ok i tried to run the updater and it didnt find anything for the sound driver. then i tried to manually install couple of the ADI models u suggested and they just shut down during the installation with the message that "this software is not supported on this system" or something along those lines. so wat do i do now?
