Hello, im here because i really need help with my problem
I upgraded last week from intel 6900k to amd ryzrn 5950x
And the mother board is GIGABYTE AORUS PRO WIFI X570 rev 1.2
I have 2 ssds ( 970 evo plus (1tb) / 950 pro (500gb))
And 2 × (4tb) HDDs (internal) one of them is old and one is brand new
When i first pluged in the old hdd
The pc didnt recognise it and got (unallocated)
I thought it went bad so i bought another 4 tb hard drive
When i recovered the data to my new hdd
Everything went we for a day
Then when i restarted my pc
Both hard drives went unallocated
I really need help because i need those hard drives for my 3d models and textures
I think my sata cables are correctly plugged
I also think that the drivers are up to date because i cant seem to update them.

Test if your HD cable is OK, buy a pair of new cables to test. If not a problem with the cable, then it is a problem with your motherboard's HD controller. If the mobo is new, return for exchange/refund.

The motherboard is brand new
And the sata cables are the same that came with the mb
It did recognize the HDDs at first
And they are recognized in the BIOS
But they keep going Unallocated randomly
