I have a Compaq Presario 700 laptop, running Windows XP. I was gone for laong weekend and let a guy wathcing my house use my laptop. He loaded and used AOL, AOL Instant Messenger and the Weather Bug.

Since I've been back (and even after deleting those programs) when I'm at msn.com via Internet Explorer I can no longer access my work email site. I use a Motorola Cable Modem.

When the worksite email page tries to load it shows the following message (in two separate boxes the full text appears twice): Microsoft Internet Explorer - An internal server error occurred.

I also receive an error with the error box showing--OdHost--CoCreateInstance failed Status is 0x80040154.

I need any help that can be provided, and I don't know if these errors are connected.

    Thank you

Don't you hate it when you loan your computer to someone and they install crap like the weather bug!! I'd go into the network applet, remove any dial-up protocols installed by AOL, and make sure my internet settings for TCP/IP are set correctly to automatic detection.
