i work for a school system.. using win xp..lan... proxy server....i can log into my account, but cannot access the internet...everything else works.. email, grading programs on the servers and so forth...

if i log into the schools generic account, i can access the interenet...i have tried everything i know.. i can log in on other computers in my lab under my name and the internet works fine... so it sounds like my personal machine problem... like i said ive tried different settings... made sure the setting are correct.. even assigned a static ip number...

please help.. this is driving me crazy...its not even a short drive... i can walk to crazy...;-)

    thanks

Can you post an Ipconfig/all from the problem computer, and one that works?
