internet connected but cannot sign in to internet explorer

    internet connected but cannot sign in to internet explorer

    I try ping reset in cmd
    ping 72.14.207.99.
    ping 72.14.207.99. [72.14.207.99.] with 32 bytes of data
    Request timed out.

    Request timed out.
    Request timed out.

    Dunno, but I pinged that address and got 4 failures too. I also pinged www.innomedia.com (209.133.49.22) and got 4 failures. This site may be set to block ping attempts. Have you tried:
    ping www.google.com

    can you access any web sites,microsoft updates?Try bringing up your task manager>processes tab,scroll down to iexplore.exe and end process,then go up to File>new task and type in iexplore.exe,reboot and try connection
