My computer is wired to my modem, my internet connection frequently drops, this is not happening to other devices other than my mobile also connected to the same modem, I have tried resetting network adaptars and restarting the computer, and following a couple of troubleshoots and I'm all out of ideas and frustrated, help would be very much appreciated thank you.

If other devices other than your cell phone and PC are not experiencing network drops, what internet connection are they using? If they are all Wi-Fi devices, and connecting thru Wi-Fi, surely it must be using the same modem/router ? Don't understand.

They are all using the same modem either wired or wifi, my phone is using WiFi and my computer is wired but I've tried wireless as well.

If your computer is wired to the router and getting network drops, then try another Ethernet cable. Is part of that cable inside the walls ?

What internet applications do you have installed on the computer?

Actually I don't think my phone is having the issue too, I have tried a different Ethernet cable, same issue happens over WiFi as well, I have fire fox, chrome and ie.
