I recently upgraded my XP Home XP Pro onto my laptop. After doing so, I lost my dial up connection that I had set up. When I went to set it up again, it gave me a 711 error. I then followed Microsoft's Knowledge Base and got 2 more errors when I tried to start the Remote Access Connection Manager (Error 5) and Remote Access Auto Connection Manager (Error 1068). For the second one, I followed Microsoft's Knowledge Base, but it did not help since everything was turned on. Is there a way to fix this problem so I can have a dial up connection or a way to uninstall the XP Pro upgrade?
