internet doesn't work on xp but it works on vista plz,help

    hi every one, i had problem with my internet connection, in my windows xp there is no internet and even there is no router ping and no received packets but there are packets sent,otherwise in vista although there are no received packets but my internet sounds good and works well.

    yes in vista i can ping my router but in windows xp i can't>>>

    is the info in the OP from the XP or Vista computer? And does it have 2 ethernet cards?
