I'm able to download files that are attached to e-mails just fine.

Other downloads from the internet are a problem. It usually downloads without allowing me to name the file or give it a location. Then, the Corel Wordperfect program automatically opens and I'm not to find the PDF downloaded file anywhere.

I've tried opening Adobe, then file, open. The downloaded file is not there. (I have Acrobat 6.0)

I've looked for a way to change defaults but I haven't had success.

If you want to download something like a PDF, right click and choose "Save Target As..." and then you can specify a name and location.

Downloading .exe's should automatically prompt you as to where to save them though. I'm not sure if you said you were having a problem with those or just PDF's.
