    bump;
    For openers, let's run spybot and adaware [gotten from links below-and perhaps cw shredder too]. After that I also suggest running Hijack This[link below] then follow the below instructions fully, and post the log in this thread, whereupon it'll be analysed by those-in-the-know here and then appropriate fixes will be suggested..

    follow the next instructions on posting the Hijack This log here;

    It’s very important that you save the log to its own permanent folder on your hard drive, such as Program Files/Hijack This, or My Documents/Hijack This, (NOT a temporary files folder) or you may loose the ability to undo any changes you make, so that it can create proper back-ups and be able to restore them if necessary.

    Close all open windows/and any open web browers and open Hijack This. Click “Scan”. When the scan is finished (it only takes a second), the scan button will change to “Save Log”. Click on “Save Log” and then save it to NotePad. Click on “Edit” – “Select all” – “copy” and then “paste” into the thread.

    DO NOT FIX ANYTHING YET;- Await further analysis here.

    bump;
    alternatively, if no immediate reading of your log [ie,within a day or so]...request a moderator to move this thread to the Security forum to have it read.
    ps. Not a fix, but ever considered using mozilla firefox for your surfing/and IE for just collecting your windows updates? If anything a temporary solution so you might get access to that site. (y)

    ps2. I got to that site you mentioned ok with mozilla firefox, the page loaded after I bypassed a dialogue box requesting username/password.
    If you like the idea of mozilla firefox, get Spyware Blaster[link below] to work as added protection for both browsers.

    Run Hijack This again and put a check by these. Close ALL windows except HijackThis and click "Fix checked"

    Restart to safe mode.

    How to start your computer in safe mode

    Because XP will not always show you hidden files and folders by default, Go to Start > Search and under "More advanced search options".
    Make sure there is a check by "Search System Folders" and "Search hidden files and folders" and "Search system subfolders"

    Next click on My Computer. Go to Tools > Folder Options. Click on the View tab and make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked. Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files" and "Hide extensions for known file types" . Now click "Apply to all folders"
    Click "Apply" then "OK"

    Now find and delete these files:

    C:\WINDOWS\zeta.exe
    C:\Documents and Settings\mike\Application Data\upsa.exe

    Delete these folders:

    C:\Program Files\MyWebSearch
    C:\Program Files\Windows ServeAd
    C:\Program Files\Windows ControlAd
    C:\Program Files\Admilli Service

    Also in safe mode navigate to the C:\Windows\Temp folder. Open the Temp folder and go to Edit > Select All then Edit > Delete to delete the entire contents of the Temp folder.

    Go to Start > Run and type %temp% in the Run box. The Temp folder will open. Click Edit > Select All then Edit > Delete to delete the entire contents of the Temp folder.

    Finally go to Control Panel > Internet Options. On the General tab under "Temporary Internet Files" Click "Delete Files". Put a check by "Delete Offline Content" and click OK. Click on the Programs tab then click the "Reset Web Settings" button. Click Apply then OK.

    Empty the Recycle Bin

    IMPORTANT!: I see that you do not have an antivirus running or a firewall. If I may so this without being rude, with the net as it is these days it is quite foolish to be without an antivirus and a firewall. By all means get both ASAP!. See This thread for some good free ones.

    IMPORTANT!: I highly recommend that you go to Windows update and install all "Critical Updates and Service Packs" except for Service Pack 2 ASAP!. This will patch numerous security holes in IE and Windows. Many baddies get on your machine by taking advantage of these vulnerabilities. As your machine stands now it is wide open to attack from all sorts of nasties. You need to get these updates IMMEDITELY!

    Note: At this time I do not recommend that you install Service Pack 2 until you have read the info at the following links and are sure that it will not cause problems with your system:

    I just had trouble finding these files:
    #1. C:\WINDOWS\zeta.exe
    #2. C:\Documents and Settings\mike\Application Data\upsa.exe
    For the first one I couldn't find the file zeta.exe and for the second one I couldn't find Application Data.I only saw user data.

    Is there any other way I could delete these files or do I not have to delete them?????
