Internet Explorer Keeps popping up

    Internet Explorer keeps popping up, I have windows xp

    and I am not even connected to the internet

    and I have run ad-aware, spybot, no results on any problems

    when it pops up when I am not even touching internet explorer it opens to my homepage not some ad site

    Can anyone please help me?

    I have formated my computer many times concerning this problem and no succeess

    pleas help

    You probably have some malware on your computer. Can you download hijack this and post the log. save the app to its own folder as each time you run it, its creates a backup that will be saved in the folder. don't reboot after you post a hijack this log. just download, install, scan and then wait for someone to tell you what to do...doc

    If you look up at the top part near the middle, I count Internet Explorer starting up ten times. You can put checks by nine of those and let hijack this fix them. Otherwise your log looks fine...doc

    thats not a startup up log

    thats the running proccesses log

    internet explorer just keeps popping up

    whats going on?

    LordTech, Please post the entire log... you are removing the top and make sure you are using ver 1.98.2
