    Hi,
PLEASE HELP ME BEFORE I GO CRAZY!!!!!
I am having simular problems as LordTech & need help desperately. I have run Spybot, Adaware6.0 & CWShredder with no positive results. You guys have been great in helping me in the past & I desperately need it again. I have to make my request short because porn sites keep popping up & I keep losing this site & have to keep logging on. I have run HiJackThis a thousand times & have gotten rid of some things I know are a menace but not sure of what else to get rid of. Please view my HiJackThis log & tell me what to do. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Click on the link below to get lsp-fix.
Run that to fix your internet connection.

    http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm

Check the box that says "I know what I'm doing".
Remove lspak.dll and cdlsp.dll only those two!

    Reboot and delete these files:
    c:\winnt\system32\cdlsp.dll and c:\winnt\system32\lspak.dll

Run HJT again and put a check in the following:

    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch =
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant =
    R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName =

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TBPS] C:\PROGRA~1\Toolbar\TBPS.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WebRebates0] "C:\Program Files\Web_Rebates\WebRebates0.exe"

Close all applications and browser windows before you click "fix checked".

    Restart in Safe Mode

Open Windows Explorer. Go to Tools, Folder Options and click on the View tab.
Make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked.
Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files".
Now click "Apply to all folders", Click "Apply" then "OK"

    Delete these folders:
    C:\Program Files\Toolbar
    C:\Program Files\common files\wintools
    C:\Program Files\winad client
    C:\Program Files\web_rebates

    Reboot.

You indicated you got the new virsion of HJT but you are not using it. Please post another log with ver 1.98.2.

    Hi Cybertech,
Thanks so much for your quick reply and help. I didn't have the newer version of HJT but I did download it & ran the following log with that.
I do see a couple a few files that I am still concerned with on the HJT log as follows:
    smutserver.com
    iesar.exe
    AOLDialer.exe
I didn't check-off the 2 smutserver files yet from the log since you didn't mention it.
The iesar.exe files was also not mentioned to delete & I distinctly remember "Flrman1" instructing me to delete that last time I used your services.
Also, do I really need the AOLDialer due to the fact that I have a Cable Modem? I seem to feel that the AOLDialer was causing my Internet to pop up without my command, but correct me if I'm wrong.
There are also some "Google" files now on my log...do I need those for any reason?
Last but not least, I unchecked "Show hidden files and folders" & rechecked "Hide protected operating system files". Is that okay? My computer gets a lot of use & I didn't want those files damaged or corrupted before I heard back from you.
Here's my log...and thanks so much again.

I've moved your post to a new thread, out of LordTech's, so please continue to reply here.

That is new to this log and I will address it.

That is new to this log and I will address it.

I don't use AOL so I don't know the answer to that question. Here's what I found regarding AOLDial.exe
Allows AOL users to establish an internet connection without launching the AOL software and/or signing onto the AOL service

Run HJT again and put a check in the following:
