    hi
    my ie suddenly stopped working.
when I double click it, it just jumps open, then shuts immediately.
I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling, but now the ie exe file doesn't show up at all. It won't seem to load from disk either.

    anyone got any ideas......

    thanks
    john

Sounds like a virus. Run your virus scanner and then let us know if didn't dind anything so we can go to the next step.

If you have a pop-up blocker or tool bar that blocks pop-ups, turn it off or uninstall. Or, many use the CTRL key to let you open a new window.

You need to check your computer for spyware. Download Spybot: Search and Destroy at www.safer-networking.org and Ad aware at www.lavasoftusa.com and load them onto your computer and scan and remove all spyware. Both are free. For now, to access the internet you can use the media browser in Real One Player or another program.
