Ok, I'm getting annoyed by this "about blank" Microsoft popup every day, every hour. How can I get rid of it, and all the other popups?

First thing you might like to do if you haven't is d/l Spybot Search and Destroy from here :

    http://www.spywareinfo.com

It will indicate any 'nasties' that you have on your system.

If not sure about what to delete then post back here.

Then get a decent Pop Up Stopper either from here :

    http://www.webattack.com - General Free / Shareware.

    or here :

    http://www.wilders.org - PC Security Software.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, IE is more sublte in its attack. The "about-blank" white screen pops up quite often, followed by an ad to sell memory leaks or speed upgrades. A special offer. I'm thinking the problem is some ad in my browser itself, something triggers it. Spyware hasn't addressed this problem.
