Everytime I try to print while on-line I get an error box that says:
An error has occured in the script on this page.
Line: 639 Char: 1 Error: Invalid argument. Code: 0
URL: res://C:\WINDOWS\System32\shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?
YES NO

If I choose yes, I still cannot print. What can I do to fix this? I have to copy and paste everything from the internet onto a MS word document in order to print. I have a new X1100 series printer and it still won't let me print from the internet.

First thing you should try is a system restore to a previous date when you could print. Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Restore

Try that and post results.

I also read on another forum that creating these value in the registry will solve the problem if the above doesn't:

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{00000320-0000-0000-C000-
000000000046}]
@="PSFactoryBuffer"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{00000320-0000-0000-C000-
000000000046}\InprocServer32]
@="C:\\WINNT\\system32\\ole32.dll"
"ThreadingModel"="Both"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\{0C733A30-2A1C-11CE-ADE5-
00AA0044773D}]
@="ISequentialStream"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\{0C733A30-2A1C-11CE-ADE5-
00AA0044773D}\NumMethods]
@="5"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\{0C733A30-2A1C-11CE-ADE5-

@="{00000320-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\{0000000c-0000-0000-C000-

@="IStream"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\{0000000c-0000-0000-C000-

I have tried the restore severl times and the message still comes up. I am not sure how to change the registry or even where to go to get to it. I have had this problem for awhile. If you could tell me how to and where to go to change the registry, I will try.

Okay, do this first while I type up directions for you.

Click Start -> Run... -> type "regedit" without the quotes, hit Enter

The registry editor will pop up. Click File -> Export -> type in "backup.reg" in the File Name box, and choose somewhere to save it to so that you know where it is. This is the backup file you can use just in case we make a mistake inside the registry.

After backing up the registry, download this file and unzip fix.reg to your desktop. Double-click the file and select Yes to allow it to add its contents to the registry.

Reboot, post results.

I tried changing the registry and it still will not print. I backed up the registry and saved to the desktop, downloaded the zip file and it will not let me use it . I says: "Cannot import C:\DOCUME~1\Renee\Desktopfix\fix.reg: The specified file is not a registry script. You can only import binary registry files from within the registry editor."

What do I do now???? Have I missed something or done it wrong?????
