Hello, this forum has been great in solving another problem I have had involving being hijacked to coolwwwsearch.com
I hope someone can help me with this one:
For about a week now my internet explorer has been unbelievebly slow. It takes about 30 sec to go from one page to the next. At first I thought that the web was slow or servers busy. Today I downloaded Netsape 7.1 to see if it would work better. It runs like a dream. I have a broadband connection. I just switched from McAffee to Norton and don't know if that has anything to do with my problems. I think that my IE is currupted somehow. I called Dell and they suggested uninstalling it and reinstalling it from a backup copy that sits on my computer somewhere. This did not change anything. I ran spybot and that did not come up with anything either. What do I do now?
Thanks in advance for any help, Volker

Go to control panel, add/remove programs and scroll down to your IE program. Click on it and choose the "repair" option.

Repair it and reboot and see if this helps you...

Dear skyman, when I clicked on the IE program it only let me change or remove not repair. I clicked change thinking that the repair option might come up . now it is gone from the list all together. It is still on the desktop though and works, though still slow. Help!
