This may sound flippant, but try a decent browser.

Although... Do you mean "Windows Explorer"? You'd hardly open Control Panel in IE, now would you?

And what would you consider "decent"?

Ive been using IE 6 since it came out with no problems.

If it suits you, AstroDaddy, then it's perfect.

Those "Smart comments" were genuine points. If you read my post, again, and answer the question I posed, we may even be able to help you.

Though I'm fast going off the idea after that comment.

If you read my response to astrodaddy, but take it as being "Smart", or sarcastic, you have got the wrong idea, because I meant what I said. If IE is fine for him, then it's perfect. It's not, for me, so I use Opera and Mozilla Firefox.

    Personal preferences, innit?

    Now then... I repeat:

Do you mean "Windows Explorer", because viewing Control Panel in IE is highly unlikely.

    No sweat!

First things first, then. Have you done an online virus check and a check for spyware?

If you get a vopy of "Hijack This!" from here:

run it and post a copy of the log. That'll let us see what nasties you may have lurking...
