    HELP PLEASE.....

    SOME HOW I LOST SOME OF MY EXE FILES AND THE ONE I CANNOT SEEM TO GET BACK IS

    IEXPLORER.EXE

    I HAVE DOWNLOAD INTERNET EXPLORER 6 FROM THE WEB AND STILL NOT ABLE TO USE IT. THE ONLY WAY I CAN ACCESS IS THROUGH MSN...

    CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHERE TO FIND THIS EXE FILE.\

    Hi Lourie,Have you tried the repair option for IE?If not Go to Start>Settings>control panel>add and remove programs>click on IE and tools>click remove>a window will open,put a tick in repair IE.Let us know if you get a clean repair

    THERE IS NO IE AND TOOLS IN MY ADD AND REMOVE PROGRAM...SO WHAT ELSE CAN I DO.

    Hiya

    First off, can you remember what the other files were?

    Now, run a virus scan

    http://housecall.antivirus.com/housecall/start_corp.asp

    Also, we may be able to restore the system if there is no virus. Reboot to DOS and at the prompt type the following. There is a space before the /

    scanreg /restore

    And pick a date prior to when this happened. Don't pick the oldest date.

    Well if it's Win 95 you can search for a setup called iesetup5.exe (or something like that) run it and it will install it again.

    If you are searching for the Internet Explorer exectuable file, it's named IEXPLORE.EXE (without the R at the end).
