    Click on "Start".

    Click on "Run".

In Run type "eventvwr.msc" without the quotes, click OK

In Event Viewer, in the left pane, click on "Application".

In the right pane, look for any errors or warnings that pertain to internet explorer.

If you find an error, double click on the error. This will open "Properties".

Take note of the Event ID number. Where you see "Description" this will tell you more about the error itself. There is also a blue link to Microsoft which will give you info. on possible resolutions.

While in Event Viewer also check "System" and if you are using IE7, check "Internet Explorer" for errors.
