 I've been experiencing a freeze up while surfing the Net ever since I've upgraded to MS IE 5.5 and have been on it for around 30 minutes or so. I'll try to click on a site and will receive the error message of "page not found/hit refresh or back button" even though I was just on that page. It's frustrating and the only way I have been able to resolve this is to disconnect from the Internet server and restart my computer.

Any suggestions? I have emptied my Temp Internet files on a regular basis. Thanks!

    Doyce,

Thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately the MS site did not help resolve my problem. It may be that my modem and PC are "outdated" and not as compatible with the new MS IE 5.5 version. I will be contacting my Internet provider to see if they have any suggestions but I do appreciate your effort. Thanks.
