Help!!!! My internet home page wont change from this porn site err my friend must have visited. I have tried changing it in internet options, i have looked in add/remove programmes for any thing untoward, i have reset my web settings in internet properties, i have even updated to IE6 hoping that this would over ride it. Iam now in need of some help as there must be a start up command somewhere. The home page will stay at what-ever i want it to until it shut down the p.c, then next time i turn it on...bang there it is, a web site i don't wish to look at. Please help A.S.A.P Thanks Mark.

    Hi marknozzy

After you have done the virus scan do this :-

If you post your startup list we may be able to spot something

Please post your startup list by doing the following :-

Please go here and download startuplist 1.5 :-

Download to any folder or your desktop
    Unzip the zipfile
    Double click the exe file
go to Edit - select all - copy - and paste the results in a new post here

I suspect you will have to run "spybot"

And if those ideas don't work - try running regedit and searching for the offending website deleting anwhere its entered. =)
