My computer is loading my home pages but goes not further. Loads to home page gmail and when I try and open my mail it blinks to email selected and then right back to home page. Does same with firefox and Explorer. Will not go to any pages, I am restarting my computer and it works for awhile then back to same thing.. I am using Windows 7 and this just started today, never have had this problem before, any help would be appreciated.. Thanks Suzanne.. Have run Avira, Malwarbytes and Advanced System Care by iObit.. All says fine..

Since "I am restarting my computer and it works for awhile" let's try ...

(From a JohnWill post)

TCP/IP stack repair options for use with Vista or 7.

Start, Programs\Accessories and right click on Command Prompt, select "Run as Administrator" to open a command prompt.

Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults: netsh winsock reset catalog

Reset IPv4 TCP/IP stack to installation defaults. netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log

Reset IPv6 TCP/IP stack to installation defaults. netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log

Reboot the machine.

Did as you requested, also updated Java yesterday and thought maybe it didn't install correctly, so I uninstalled and reinstalled it. After these to changes, so far this morning everything is working fine.. If it continues working will close case, thanks so much for the help.. Suzanne
