i would like to know where i can get more detailed explainations for the various check boxes in the ADVANCED tab of INTERNET OPTIONS for windows 98se. dragging the "question mark" often provides vague or insufficient information. this would also apply to the SECURITY tab.

the question mark is a helper & often the program is lacking in supplying things under the "?" I agree with you on that. But most programs have a Help file you can check in.

The main thing is disabling script

If you try a Google search and type in "internet options" plus the item you want to know more about, you get a wealth of information.
