internet problems

    I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have been having problems with my internet for awhile. I will be browsing the internet and it will sometimes not go anywhere and then like 2 minutes later it will let me browse again. It does this all the time. The thing is, I am never actually disconnected from the internet, because sometimes I will be downloading stuff through torrents and I never lose my download speed, it just doesn't load pages. Every computer in my house has this problem.. I also thought it could be the router, so I unhooked it and just used a computer connected straight to the modem, but it still did it. Does anyone know what could cause this?

    Sounds like DNS issues to me.

    Let's try replacing your DNS server. Follow the instructions at OpenDNS for Windows and configure to use OpenDNS for your DNS server. See if that makes a difference.

    I tried what you suggested, but it is still doing the same thing. Also, I called my service provider and they said we have not been disconnected in months and there is no problem for them to fix.

    Boot in Safe Mode with Networking and see if that changes things.
