I do recommend people to have Internet Security Suites but not McAfee.it is because,McAfee is a resource hog and very much hogs on RAM.Besides,it has poor detection rates. Also, like Norton,it does not completely uninstall itself and leaves behind innumerable potential remnants. For Internet Security Suite,I recommend only two. They are:-

    1)BitDefender
    2)Kaspersky Internet Security Suite

Both have excellent detection rates and considerable prices.Besides, both are very light on resources. If you want a clear view on best Internet Security Suite, read the below excerpt. It was submitted by a user named Broledh in another forum:-
Hope you get to mean what I say.Good Luck.

Grisoft also has a 'Suite' thats very good: http://www.grisoft.com/doc/21/us/crp/0

The reason why some people don't recommend suite's is because it may do one function well but be terrible at another function.
