my laptop can run league of legends at a bad but bearable pace and i really enjoy it however my biggest issue is that ill be playing a game and all of the sudden i lag out and i go to my connection to check it and its completely off the only way ive found to fix (temporarily) is to turn the laptop off and on again taking roughly 3 minutes however if i play any other games online my connection never goes out i took it a step further as to hook my laptop up via ethernet cable and the same problem arises any advice or help would be extremely helpful

Maybe there is too many people on their servers, so it kicks you off? Your internet sounds like it works, and it is only when you play LoL. But then you say it plays at "a bad but bearable pace", maybe it is overheating.

have you tried restarting your internet router or maby using a different internet server you could also try using a different browser while playing the game
