I am using an ethernet cable to connect to my router and today my internet speeds have been really slow, when i turn a test on ookla it comes out at around 150 ping 4 download and 4 upload. My internet in the house is anywhere form 67-80mbps and when i run a speed test on my wireless devices like my phone it is reaching normal speeds which means it is only my computer. I am using a BT powerline ethernet. Any help would be appreciated.

can you go direct to the modem/router to eliminate the powerline?

No i cant the router is downstairs and my computer is setup upstairs and there is nowhere to plug in the router upstairs

I could unplug my computer and move it downstairs for a bit if you think it will help me solve my problem

It would be best to make sure the issue is not with the powerline adapters, but if it's cumbersome, i wouldn't worry. Try powercycling the adapters.
