Greetings

Its been stated here before that most of the activity blocked by your Firewall is harmless.

However you might run through the tests offered by this site :

http://www.pcflank.com

(Disable your Firewall for the Anti Trojan Scan - then reenable it to run the others.)

Also try an AntiVirus Scan here :

http://housecall.antivirus.com

Then if you have not got it - download Spybot Search & Destroy from here :

http://security.kolla.de/

Once installed - run it and click 'Onlline' > click 'Check for updates' - and get any it finds - close Internet Explorer and then in Spybot click 'Check for problems' - let it scan your system - > click 'Fixall checked.

Lastly get Spywareblaster from here :

http://www.wilderssecurity.com/spywareblaster.html

Again once installed > run it and click 'Check for updates'.

When it has added the latest definitions - click to select all > protect against all items.

- Remember to keep updating both Spybot and Spywareblaster every week or so in order for them to remain effective.

One more thing you might do if you have not - in IE click Tools > Int. Options > Advanced - and look under the heading Browsing .. make sure the two boxes marked 'Enable Install on Demand' are not ticked. This will perhaps prevent international dialers and other such things installing without your consent.

You might have some success if you try the above, in addition to anything other people here suggest.

In addition to what RSM123 recommended, Go Here and download a great little (and free) utility called CookieWall. This prog lets you completely control, in real time, what cookies are allowed to be loaded on your computer.

No foolin..... It really does. :D

I also recommend IE-SPYAD. It's free Here. This prog will install a TON of URL's in your IE Restricted sites list. This will prevent you or anyone else form accessing a lot of known bad sites where nasties get downloaded.
