    Hi,

Lately, after a reformat, my internet has been 100% dodgy.

Im running XP home, using a Siemens 4200 ADSL modem via Ethernet connection.
When I turn my computer on, I can use the internet for about 5 minutes, but then it stops working, ie. Mozilla and internet explorer cannot find server for every web page. It looks exactly like a computer not connected to the net. But after a computer reboot, I can use the net for about 5 minutes again.

Im also having trouble removing that SpySheriff Malware thing, if thats anything to do with it.
Also, in both my web browsers, if i type 'Hijackthis' anywhere on the page (adress bar or search bar) my web browser closes! (Both IE and Firefox). But this only happens for Hijackthis. Its like some program on my computer doesnt want me to fix it!

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thank you. =D

Sounds like it was not completely removed, Go here and run the removal again, http://spam site link removed/remove-spysheriff-virus/ but this time Turn off system restore after removing, then reboot pc and then Turn System Restore back ON, see if that helps!! Then try Hijackthis again too!
