on my network, the main computer is my fathers windows 7 desktop. i previously had a windows XP desktop and the internet speed was always around 65 Mbps.
i just got a windows 7 toshiba laptop with an i3 processor and my internet speed is still at 65Mbps.
i am fully connected to the network.
my brother who is also part of the network has a dual core processor and his internet speed is always around 130 Mbps.
Why is my internet so slow and what can i do to fix it?

That is truly amazing internet access! Are those numbers from Speedtest.net? If not, what service are you using for the testing?
