invalid page fault

    When I want to change the wallpaper or desktop themes in windows 98 I get invalid page fault in module then lots of letters and numbers.Please help...

    Does it say what caused the page fault or can you tell us what module it says it is in?

    it says this program caused an illegal operation and will be shut down . module jpegim32.flt at 0167:ic007e19 and then lots of numbers and letters

    It could be because the Desktop Themes control panel program, Themes.exe, is incompatible with the new version of the JPEG (.jpg) file filter, Jpegim32.flt.
