    Hey guys,
My toshiba has problem it's dark, I tried everything, so I concluded there is no problem with software, it's inverter or backlight, I opened screen, tried to test inverter with multimeter, then plugged it backed and sceen lights up, but after some time, problem comes up.. is this inverter problem or backlight? How Can I check with ordinary multimeter Inevter?

Which Toshiba laptop is it ? A 3rd possibility is a bad connection due to an worn video cable. I think that's the most likely because the display came back for a while after you had worked on it.

it's toshiba satellite E105-S1602, I connected another Display and it worked, So I think it's Backlight, as inverter works and I can see desktop with flashlight, so backlight should be dead, right?

Maybe but you did say the display came back for a while, I don't see how it could if the backlight was already dead. Same applies to the Inverter. You can have a cable fault that would still make a display but gives the Inverter the wrong input and switches the Inverter's power to the backlight off.

If it was me I would try a new inverter first because they can be cheap (on Ebay) and easy to change. Next I'd try a new cable and only then try to replace the backlight because that's the hardest job.

    Just my personal opinion.

I connected another screen to inverter and it worked, so I think backlight should be dead, Inverter works on another screen.

Well it probably is the backlight then but it could be a bad connection to it as well.

Will you try to fix it yourself ?

Yes I will replace it, I think it's backlight if not backlight then I guess I have to replace screen.
