Using Windows 98 on a PC or laptop my Zip drive will bring up a brochure that needs a bit of work but will not save it ANYwhere. I get a variety of messages including "Disk is not formatted." "Disk is full or damaged."
"Save to another disk." Is the drive dead? Is there a way out with the brochure intact?

Anny: Try copying the file from the zip to your hard drive using Windows Explorer. Then try working on it from your hard drive. If you successfully get it copied to your hard drive, I would run scandisk on your zip drive and see if you can't recover that file. If not, format the zip drive, making sure there are no bad sectors (if so, trash the zipdisk), and copy the file back onto it if the zip is still good.
