    Hi Everyone,

I'm getting an "IP Conflict" message at the bottom right screen, I'm running Win XP, and I've checked for duplicate IP adresses and found nothing. Thank you in advance for your help.

Is the computer connected to a router or another device thats automatically hands out IP addresses?

...and (adding to jackdw) does the IP address you have end in "1"?

In other words, check the IP address of any routers, printers, or Pocket PCs you have on your network.

Another common cause if you have an unsecured wireless network.
