can you be more specific as to what you think they are doing with your IP
does your broadband provider - give you a fixed IP - or is it DHCP
if DHCP - just log off the network - ie disconnect the router or the modem and when you log back on again after a couple of hours you should get a new IP
Unless you use software specifically designed to mask your IP address, it's not difficult to get and cannot be used to track you personally as in your name, address, and phone number. Only your ISP knows which IP address was assigned to you when, and in order for someone to get that information, they'd need a court order.
