Hi, I have an Ipod Video that is giving me a lot of trouble. I loaded all of my music into the Itunes library (including .mp3, .wma and .m4a i think). Then, I connect my Ipod and it starts updating it, and about 300 songs in (sometimes more, sometimes less) the Ipod will completely reset itself and all of the songs that it was updating will be gone.

I tried the 5 R's that the apple support website suggests with no luck (reset, restore, etc). So, I updated my Ipod on my sister's computer (who downloads .mp3s from all over the internet) and it worked beautifully so I don't think it is the Ipod hardware...I think its something dealing with my computer.

Then, I tried slowly adding about 50 songs at a time on my computer, and eventually it failed of course. And, it will report Corrupt Files on the Ipod...is this a result of the failed file transfers??? or is this caused by some corrupt mp3s on my computer???

Is there some kind of program I can run that will check the integrity of my media files? Or, does anybody have other suggestions?
