    Hey Guys,

Its been a while since I was here. Good to be back among you gurus!

I am quite new to the networking world and the jargon always gets me off.

I did some online research but still seem to be confused about the differences between IPSEC and SSL VPN. Apart from the protocols they use, what I believe is SSL VPN is for a point to VPN router connectivity where point = desktop/laptop pc.

If I have a site to site connectivity, I need to use IPSEC VPN where I configure the tunnel in each site's respective routers.

Am I right in my thought? Am I clear to use the word "tunnel" to both of them or does "tunnel" have a special meaning and usage.

    Please advice.
