about a week ago,i downloaded a screensaver type software. screensaver might me the wrong name for what it is.

when i boot up and as the desktop starts to appear, i get the picture of a jungle, then disappears as the desktop loads completely with my windows98 default background.

i want to rid my comp. of this jungle picture. also,as i surf ,i get jungle-like sounds when i click the mouse or open up anything.

    thanks

The jungle is one of the windows desktop themes. To get rid of the sounds go into control panel and click on desktop themes. Although I am not entirely sure that is what it is called. After doing that just change it to the default desktop theme or which ever desktop theme you want. I am not sure if that will get rid of the jungle desktop at startup but it will get rid of the sounds or at least it should. I had the problem with changing desktops and I forget how I fixed it. You could try to change to another desktop and then back to the one you have on it now.
