Is an i5-8600K+GTX 1080 Ti a good CPU-GPU combo for gaming?

I'm curious to know if this will be good for gaming at 3440x1440 @ 120Hz.

Thanks in advance!

You're leaving out some important specs for your gaming computer:

Brand name and model number and revision number of motherboard

Brand name and model number and wattage of power supply

Type and speed and amount of RAM

It supports 8th generation Intel processors and does support the Intel Core i5-8600K. (y)

It has 4 memory slots and supports a maximum of 64 GB of DDR4 RAM.
I'm glad to see you're installing 16 GB and not a smaller amount. (y)

The "CX" series are designed for basic systems and aren't designed for gaming systems.
You should select a better quality model than that Corsair CX750M. (n)
I'm not a hardware/gaming expert, so someone else here who is will need to give you a recommendation.
