    ack! ya could have warned me jac! I mean you did say "it could be disturbing to some" but WHOA... that was beyond disturbing... LOL I couldn't get the window closed fast enough! :eek: :)

    I think it would have looked more effective
    with the eye rolling rather than distorting.
    But interesting anyway.

    I thought this thread was about the auto-surveilance
    that there is a growing amount of these days.

    Did you know that every time a credid card number
    appears on the internet, its presence is logged by
    police and government agencies?
    The time and the persons details are recorded?

    They claim this is done 'to fight crime'

    I know which you may be talking about. Echelon is known to be active out there.

    It is global spying network created by (as so far is known) USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. It not only scans all international communication lines (using 120 satellites, microwave listening stations and an adapted submarine) but also analyses and stores usenet messages. All of this is done transparently and automatically.
