I was just wondering if it's a big deal to have antivirus and firewall protection provided by different companies. I've heard it can cause conflicts to have two different AV's but didn't know if it mattered between AV and firewall. Thanks!

I used to have Nortons AV and Nortons Personal firewall running together.. But I have found that Nortons Firewall wasnt catching any outputs... (things leaving my PC) so I am now using ZoneAlarm as my firewall. Seems to have no problems.. So I guess your answer would be no.. doesnt matter. Now using two firewalls or AV programs at once.. I couldnt answer

Using two AV's or two firewalls, can potentially cause problems. But one of each from different companies is no problem.
