is internet explorer on windows cd?

    ok this may sound like a really dumb question but i was going to get my friend to reformat my computer and i was wondering if i could go ahead and delete internet explorer cause right now that's what's causing my problems. if i do delete it can i download it again from a windows cd???

    oh yea...and how would i go about deleting it?

    Their are programs on the net that will delete it, however windows may lose some features or run poorly. The same goes for OE. It should be on the CD. Just right click on the CD and go to explore.

    I would not advise deleting Internet Explorer.

    It all depends on what version of Windows you are running. If you are running 95 you can certainly delelte IE.

    Have you tried running the repair option from Add Remove Programs.

    What problem have you got with IE

    Many times it is not actually IE at fault but another application clashing with IE or spyware/malware/trokans/viruses causing problems
