Is it a Lan frequency Inverter help please

    Hello, can you please help me with this.. what is it? It's main purpose and how it functions? My home network have been lagging and I found a Ralink device connected to my network. Also, I cannot access my router's home page 192.168.1.1..
    My ip is FE80:xxxx something definitely ipv6.

    You say you cannot access your router's page - what is the brand and model of your router ?

    When you type the command 'ipconfig', what ip is reported as the Gateway ?

    Give us a photo of that RaLink device so perhaps someone can identify it.

    Please open a command prompt on Windows 10 and type in 'ipconfig' . Copy and paste the result into your reply. I want to see the gateway Your PC is using. It will also show us all the network adapters in use.

    Been ages since I used a pc.
    This is what appeared on windows 7, will try on a windows 10 tomorrow.

    Win 7 also supports the ipconfig command.

    That box you have a picture based on some research has nothing to do with your Internet. It's a frequency inverter for AC power. From what I can tell it's to allow output power frequency adjustment for things such as an air conditioner or some electric motor coming from 3 phase main power. I've also seen references of similar inverters used with solar panels.

    So in short...don't mess with it. Either you'll really damage something expensive or you can potentially damage yourself.
