Is it brwser or not?

As you can see from the screnshot - if you look closely at the right hand side - the full page width is not visible.
The IT guys at the library suggest I use IE to correct this :cry: but it was working fine with Chrome until I got this present computer.

I'm hoping it's something I can change but I don't know what. Changing the zoom option doesn't alter it.
The right hand side should have little tick boxes (you can see just the edge of them) which allow me to 'freeze' any ordered book, if, for instance I'm going to be away. I use this a lot so I want the facility back.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I tried all that, plus experimenting with Chrome's developer tools, nothing changes. Of all the webpages I go to, the library one is the only one which is narrow - but their IT guys say they can't fix it.
Or they suggest Ctrl+ which of course only makes things bigger, not better.
Looks like I may just have to live with it. Very annoying.
