Is it normal?

    I am burning a cd right now that is overburning as well, it is burning like 10mb extra

    and its going for a long time now (like 30 min) is it normal or should i stop it? (how?)

    Do you mean the burn process has lasted 30 mins ?

    If so I would terminate. Overburning can damage the drive.

    For specific advice please post back details on your system for someone to take a look at.

    Well, soon after it printed an error on screen but the burn red light was still on in the drive
    i tried ejecting but it didnt work
    so i restarted...

    Can usually get 81 or 82 minutes of music on an 80 minute CD with Nero 5.5.10.42, but it does depend on the media and the drive.
