Is it possible to download a universal driver

    for a digital camera? I have a camera without the driver cd. Is there a program or something that will allow me download pictures to my PC?

    What operating system are you runnung and what kind of camera. Have you checked the manufacturers website.

    I use win. 2000

    A friend gave me the camera. It has no name or info on it

    I would asume then you have already plugged the camera in and see if windows 2000 already has the driver. It has been a really long time since I have messed with 2000. There is nothing not even a model number or serial number you could possible google for the manufacturer ? I would remove the cover for the battery and search inthere if nothing identifing on the case

    If the camera has a removable FLASH memory card, it's easy to find an inexpensive reader to read those.
