What do the people think of running broadband using ME and 60mb.
Just a small question

60 MB of RAM is not nearly enough RAM to properly run Windows ME with broadband or 56K. It should have at least 256 MB of RAM.

If it works, and that's what you have - then use it! I used Win98 with 32mb at work for a couple of years - we were on a T1 though.

Well it seems to work.
What it is is that atm I'm coming off this mate's laptop running the specs I mention and she's thinking of getting broadband through Blueyonder.
They advised her not to run bb on any less than 61mb.
Iv'e hooked up my bb modem with a 1.1mb connection and its just passable.

Using broadband on an old computer with little RAM will likely speed up Internet browsing, but it won't run at its rated upload/download speeds.

Well I'm going into the town tomorrow for some more mem for this lappy to crank it up to 192mb, it's got a 700mhz celeron so it should be singing when I put XP on.
By the way Flav I run XP on 128mb and a 233mhz
:D
